Personal data

The data controller is Associés en Gouvernance (France), at the address above. The site keeps no file of identified visitors and asks no one to create an account.

Contact form and family diagnostic. What you enter (name, email, telephone if given, organisation, role, message and, for the diagnostic, your answers) is forwarded by email to the partners, who handle it as private correspondence, and kept in the site's administration area, open to the partners only, so that no request is lost. It is used only to answer your request — the firm's legitimate interest — and kept for at most three years, then erased. Email delivery is handled by Resend, Inc. (United States); the administration area keeps these messages in a private repository hosted by GitHub, Inc. (United States).

Guides assistant. The question typed into the "Ask your questions" field on the Guides page, and the conversation that follows, are sent to Anthropic, PBC (United States) to produce the answer. Anthropic processes this data on the firm's behalf, does not use it to train its models, and does not keep it beyond thirty days unless legally required.

The firm keeps its own record of the questions asked and the answers given, in its back office, so that it knows what its readers are looking for and can improve its guides — the firm's legitimate interest. That record holds no name, no IP address and no account identifier: exchanges from the same browser are grouped by a short, non-reversible technical marker. The last five hundred conversations are kept, the oldest dropping off as new ones arrive, and you may ask for yours to be deleted at the address below. Your IP address itself is used only to limit the number of questions per period and is recorded nowhere. Do not enter any personal information in that field.

Map on the Team page. The globe on the Team page loads its map tiles from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org). As with any image requested from a server, your IP address reaches it; no cookie is set and nothing else is sent. It is the only resource the site requests from a third party without asking you first.

Technical logs. Like any host, Vercel keeps connection logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for a limited time, as needed for the security and operation of the service.

Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. Write to contact@associes-gouvernance.com or to the postal address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Cookies

Audience measurement. Only with your consent, the site measures its visits with Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited: pages viewed, visit length, referrer, country, device type. It is used solely to learn what is read, in order to improve the site; it is not combined with other data or used for advertising. It sets _ga cookies kept for at most thirteen months, and data may be transferred to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. If you decline, no cookie is set and no script is loaded. Your choice is kept in your browser for six months, and you can change it at any time through the "Cookies" link at the foot of every page — withdrawing consent deletes those cookies.

The site sets no other cookie. Only the administration area, reserved for the firm's team, uses a session cookie strictly necessary for signing in.

Intellectual property

The whole site — texts, guides, brand, logo, illustrations, layout — is the property of Associés en Gouvernance or used under licence, and is protected by the French Intellectual Property Code. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, even in part, without prior written consent is prohibited. Short quotations remain free under the conditions of Article L. 122-5 of that code, with the author and source credited.

Liability

The content published on this site, guides included, is general in scope: it constitutes neither legal, tax nor financial advice, nor an offer of services. The firm takes care over its accuracy but cannot be held responsible for decisions taken on that basis alone, nor for the content of third-party sites it links to.
