Agathe Kohn

Agathe is a certified coach, a skills-assessment specialist and a trainer.

She began her career in banking, then in a family office in Geneva, before joining the family company at twenty-six. She spent fourteen years there as a sales and marketing executive for several subsidiaries, New Man among them. She experienced the challenges of succession from the inside: the tension between continuity and change, the difficulty of taking one's place without betraying the history — while still shifting the lines. That formative experience left her with a conviction: a successful succession needs as much clarity about the rules of the game, the skills and the roles as it needs sensitivity in the relationships.

She then trained in coaching, skills assessment and professional training, to help each person take their place, make informed choices and develop their skills with confidence and judgement. A key provider to the training organisation Cegos, among others, she now designs bespoke programmes combining coaching, training and assessment, to help the rising generation find its footing and develop its skills with coherence and purpose.

In joining Associés en Gouvernance in 2025, she chose to devote herself to family businesses, where the personal and the strategic are intertwined.
