Camille Bougon

Camille Bougon began her career as a notaire specialising in wealth planning. For some fifteen years she advised families and business owners on structuring and passing on their assets. She also taught private and business wealth planning at Sciences Po Paris. She then joined a family investment company, where she drew on her skills and her experience as a notaire to create and develop an investment vehicle dedicated to operational real estate in France. She is also a director of a major French banking group.

That dual experience — as a notaire and as an actor within a family structure — brought home to her how important it is to address governance and ownership in family businesses. Securing the future of the company while keeping family relations peaceful is often a real challenge. She enjoys a challenge in her own life too: the next one is to swim from Corsica to Sardinia.
