Claire Planton

Senior Advisor

Senior Advisor. More than twenty-five years of governance and transformation work, in executive and advisory roles, across the public and private sectors. Based in Lyon, from where she develops the firm's family-governance practice across Rhône-Alpes.

Claire Planton has more than twenty-five years' experience leading high-stakes, high-impact projects in governance and organisational transformation. Her career has taken her through executive and advisory roles — in consultancies, family companies, associations, public teaching and research institutions and regional cooperation bodies — in both the public and private sectors, in France and internationally. Her expertise has grown around organisational performance: helping decision-makers (shareholders, executives and boards) accelerate and secure their organisation's performance through the performance of its governance, while making both, to the same standard, more responsible and more sustainable.

Passionate about passing on knowledge and experience, about the world of ideas and about governance systems in the broad, English sense of the word, she is personally committed — through board seats and associations — to philanthropic and entrepreneurial projects with a strong element of human, social and environmental innovation.

Claire Planton holds a doctorate in public law (Paris I — Panthéon Sorbonne) and degrees in political science and organisational science (Paris Dauphine). She also completed the prép'ENA at the IEP in Paris and taught public law at Lyon III — Jean Moulin.

She is based in Lyon, where she is from, and from where she develops the firm's family-governance practice across the Rhône-Alpes region.
