He spent more than twenty-five years as a chief financial officer and then chief executive of companies in France, Indonesia and Spain. In 2003 he was a co-founder of the Institut Français des Administrateurs (IFA), the French institute of directors.
He carries out evaluations of boards and their committees, and has served as a director of family-owned companies since 2005.
He speaks at many conferences and seminars on corporate governance, and regularly publishes articles on the subject.
