Founding partner. A career across the public and private sectors: naval officer, then an executive in industrial energy, strategy consulting and major retail, with a spell as an entrepreneur. Because of his own family's history, his work with boards now centres on family companies.

A career across the public and private sectors, beginning as a naval officer (an engineering graduate of the École navale), followed by management, executive and governance responsibilities — in industrial energy, in an international strategy and management consultancy, and in a major retail group.

He has extensive experience of corporate governance, having led a very large number of engagements with boards of directors — for companies and groups, listed and unlisted, some of them controlled, in both the private and public sectors.

Prompted by his own family's experience, his work is now largely devoted to family companies — mid-caps and smaller businesses — in family governance and corporate governance alike. The Family Business Network (FBN) calls on him regularly for that reason.

He teaches on governance programmes, notably the company director certificate run by Sciences Po Executive Education and the Institut Français des Administrateurs.

He is also closely involved in the question of governance in start-ups.
