Partner. A specialist in family and corporate governance, succession, and family holding companies. A career in investment banking (UBS, Natixis) and private equity (Creadev). She founded SMT Consulting in 2022.

Séverine Tapié-Mulliez specialises in family governance and corporate governance — including in start-ups — in succession and the engagement of the younger generation, and in structuring and supporting family holding companies as instruments of cohesion and diversification.

She spent most of her career in finance, in investment banking (UBS, Natixis) and private equity (Creadev), working closely with entrepreneurs and the heads of family businesses.

In 2022 she founded SMT Consulting, which advises the heads of family businesses on structuring their governance, on succession and on diversification.

Alongside her professional work, Séverine has held many non-executive roles. She chaired the finance committee of the AFM (Association Familiale Mulliez) for fifteen years, served as a director of AFM companies in consumer-facing businesses, and was twice elected to the AFM's supervisory board, serving ten years in all.

She now serves as an independent board member of family holding companies, with a focus on governance, succession and diversification. She is also a director of METI, the French association of mid-sized companies.

She is a graduate of Université Paris-Dauphine and of the SFAF, the French Society of Financial Analysts.
